BryteWave™ K-12 App Updates
The BryteWave K-12 app now offers simplified access to your library resources, including the school search functionality. These updates will be accompanied by faster performance and numerous usability improvements. To receive these changes, simply update the BryteWave K-12 app manually.
Highlights include:
- BryteWave K-12 app users can now quickly and easily find their schools' print and digital collection with our new search feature that matches by school name and state
- Faster performance and usability improvements
- Faster login and resolved time-out issues

Getting Started
It's easy to find and access Follett eBooks in any browser on GoFollett.com or in the BryteWave K-12 Edition app.

GoFollett.com Explained
GoFollett.com is a fast, easy-to-remember way for students and faculty to access your digital library. Your users will no longer need to remember your school's specific URL.
To use GoFollett.com:
- Head to GoFollett.com in any browser
- Open the "Location" drop-down to select your state or province
- Type the first few letters of your school's name in the "School" field.
- Select your school from the list of suggestions
- Select "Go!"

Support active engagement with eBooks in your classroom with one or more of our ready-to-go activities. Each activity is designed to develop a specific skill using Follett eBooks to bring the lesson to life.
Selective Highlighting
Selective highlighting can be used across the curriculum to help students organize what they are reading and identify what is important. In this activity, students consider main ideas and their supporting details.Character Traits – Stated and Inferred
When students describe characters in books, they do so in terms of character traits, usually descriptive adjectives that tell about the character. This activity helps students learn to discriminate between traits the author tells the reader directly and those the reader infers from the author’s writing.Make Predictions
This reading comprehension and writing activity helps students develop skills in predicting what will happen next in a story, and also helps them to answer Who? What? When? Where? How? and Why? questions.Scientific Inquiry
Integrate the Language Arts curriculum with other disciplines as students use the first steps in scientific inquiry to analyze and make observations. Reinforce good reading strategies while reinforcing scientific concepts – increase achievement in both areas!Create an Alternate Ending
